55-60 ft lbs would be the standard torque for 10mm bolts of grade 8 or higher. 75-85 ft lbs would be standard for 12mm bolts of grade 8 or higher. |

James: Are the bolts 12mm in size? If not, then I could be wrong. |

Thanks, everyone, for the help. However, 7.5 daNM converts to 55 foot-lbs. Now what to do? Jim S. |

I torqued mine to 85 lb-ft as well. |

I don't know if this is correct. The torque section, of the TR WSM, lists a "screw securing flange to wheel"......could this be it? It states a size of 12 X 1.25mm and 7.5 daNm torque.

Jim, I recently went through this process when I switched over to BBS wheels and transfered my hubs. I torqued the nuts to 85 lb-ft, based on a torque-thread pitch-diameter chart I have...and a dab of red locktite, to be safe. If the hardware is clean and without corrosion, I see no reason why not to reuse them (as I did). Regards, David |

Do not have my workshop manual with me, but need to determine the proper torque specification to re-attach the spline hub to the wheel. There are 5 bolts and nuts that are covered by the stainless ring plate. Does anyone have the torque specification? Any reason not to reuse these bolts/nuts? Thanks. Jim S. |
