Dave Have any further details to the Michelotto cars you can post and any chassis numbers? If not, post what you can and I'll contact Michelotto in Padua and see what can be found out. Philip |

Hi Phillip, do you know the chassis # of this car? Off the top of my head it does not look like one of the original Michelotto group 4 racers, but I'm probably wrong.... At any rate Michelotto preped 308's were raced in three categories, group 4, group B, and GT/M... The original 11 group 4 cars done by Michelotto had 315hp @ 8000rpm. The biggie in the 308 series was the 1981 308GTB group 5 racer that Carlo Facetti had built. It put out 840hp and set the record of the day for fastest lap at Daytona on lap number 2. It blew it's engine on lap 3, end of story.
