JMG - You are correct. The rectangular panels are easily pulled with a little self made hook, to expose the dials. I opened the speedo meter dial myself to get hold of the "speed pulse".

I need to replace a dash bulb in my 92 Mondial. I was going to go at it this afternoon but decided it might be worth asking for tips on pulling the light panel so I don't damage it. I figure the rectangular boxes lift and expose the dials underneath etc...
