I have owned a 1987 328GTS for 15 years. I am getting ready to change the timing belts for the second time. The first time I did it I removed the passenger side fuel tank so the AC compressor could be moved out of the way to get to the front belt. Is this necessary to do? I have a 4 post lift in my basement so tank removal would be easier this time around. But I'd rather not have to do it if not necessary. I am new to this website so please bear with me if this topic has been well documented. |
