Julian, My educated guess would be to remove, and check the door switches. Likely they are mulitfuction switches, and one set of contacts (for the lights) have corrosion of some sort on them allowing for partial current flow to the lights...hence why when you turn on the primary switch, they get brighter. |

I engaged the battery disconnect switch, started my car today and the interior light was stuck "on". I turned off the ignition and the light still stayed on. The on/off switch only makes the light dimmer or brigher, I can't turn it off... weird! The door switches seem to be working fine since anytime I open either door, the seatbelt mouse on the correct side would respond. The only way to turn off the interior light is to dis-engage the battery disconnect switch. Help !!!!
