The past few times I have taken the TR out all day, and then parked it outside for a few hrs ( resturant, or store) at night some intersting things happen to the inst lights. It seams to be when the outside temp drops 15-20 deg and condensation forms on the roof and front bonnet that when the lights are put on that the two directional indicators light up also. In fact when the turn signals are put on, the cluster lights flash with them. After a few min, everything goes back to normal. I assume that the condensation is causing a bridge somewhere ( in the speedo or fuse box) but would like to find out before it shorts something. Does anyone else have this? If I had to guess it would be in the speedo, only because when I use the brightness adj, the turn signal lights dim also. |
