Is there a wear limit guideline before compulsory replacement is required? |

Ask them if they can reface the flywheel. It probably can be done and will work as good as new. |

Guys, I,ve got a new clutch about to be put in and the F-car mechanic tells me that there is some wear on my flywheel. It's about 1mm thinner than stock due to wear. Because of this, he says that the clutch biting point and take-up will not be as smooth and as efficient as a new or correctly adjusted set-up. Is this true or are they just trying to sell me a new flywheel? ctk |
