I always view the 512M as somewhat gawky of a car, a transition if you will. I think the 512TR is a better all around car and as has been said it can actually be driven without too much guilt. I got to admit though, when you see two next to each other (I had the opportunity a couple months ago) the 512M stands out a lot more, its quite impressive in person, moreso than the TR or 512 TR are. |

there are some drive train differences, the main one is that the extra HP comes form the M having titainium connecting rods. There isn't a simple list of changes, there are many sytling differences as well. -Ben |

No. More HP 421 versus 432. The engine valves are completely different, the M can rev higher, a little faster 192 vs. 196. Based on the difference the 512TR is the way to go if you are going to drive. Only 75 or so 512M came to the US and its more looked at as a collectible not a driver. |

Can someone tell me the difference between the 512tr & the 512m? Is the only difference the design for example the headlamps? |
