I would check the plugs in the affected cylinders for fouling before I tackled a carb problem.

I noticed at idle my car sounds a little weak. Not rough but boom boom sounding. I pulled a plug wire while the car was running and the engine didn't change. I put it back. Then I pulled another one, no change. I put it back as well. I then pulled another and heard a difference. I put it back. I tried another and heard a difference. Is it possible I am down 2 cylinders at idle? How would I know if I am down 2 cylinders off of idle about 50 mph? I checked the plugs and I am getting spark to all of my plugs. Could this be clogged idle jets? How difficult is it to rebuild the carbs? I don't know too much about carbs so, I really would greatly appreciate any help that you might have. Thanks.
