I have since upgraded to QV rims with Bridgestones, but my old stock 14" rims have Michelin MXV4's and they were fine. Should be at least as good as the Pirelli P4000 option. I have seen several 308's with the Michelin. |

I also use the Pirelli P4000s and for my driving habits I find them very adequate. |

Some people laugh at me with my Pirelli P4000's, but I find they are good tires. Very quiet compared to my old hockey-puck XWX's. They are "H" rated in that size, so its good to 130mph. They hold well on dry roads (adequate on wet). They are also very inexpensive (I paid around $115Cdn each). |

Say, does anyone have any recommendations about tire sources for the old 205 x 70 x 14 size? Any experiences with various brands /distributers/pricng would be helpful - and, given my usual driving, I really don't require vr or zr rated tires. Thank you. |
