The casings are interchangeable. A 308 2v will bolt to QV. In order to use a 328 gearbox, you need the 328 style transfer case. |

True. I was talking of the US cars, which got the change when the QVs came along. |

Bret, The Euro QV tranny is higher geared than the US Spec QV's tranny. |

They should bolt up right and all the gears should fit. The QV trans is a bit stronger than the other years from what I have read and heard, it is geared a little lower though so if you drive on the highway constantly it might be a bit of a pain. |

I was wondering if 308 transmissions are interchangeable? For example could I install a QV/2Vi transmission on my carb 308? |
