Well hmmm I know what you are talking about now...not what I was thinking of in terms of the connector...but now I understand what you mean.
If you can locate your items on the wiring diagram on each wire is a code that looks like this "1,5 Cu" or "2,5 Br", things like that, if you can find those I'll translate the color codes for you.

Ben these are the harnesses in the center dash, which have male and female connectors, one having metal pins and the other having metal tubes. There must be a trick to pull the wires out of these white connectors. My diagram does not have colours unless they are in Italian but I do not think so? I am having intermittent problems with the clock and rehostat for the lights. In the 86 TR the rehostat, clock, and odometer is one unit with 6 wires leading into one connector. If I can figure out which wires do what, I may be able to trace the fault.

My TR wiring diagram has the colors marked. Also each connector is coded they are not universal. I'm assuming you are talking about the wire harnesses that connect around the fuse box? The pins in the white disconnect sockets are female acutally. The Male side is soldered into the fuse board and a BIG pain to remove (I've jumpered around several of mine)...

How does one remove individual pins ( male )out of the Electrical Bus quick connection terminals? I am trying to isolate a fault, and the easiest is to remove one by one the pins and see what each one controls. I have looked at the wire diagram, but they do not mark colours.
