I'm told its for the radio, not a cellphone, just wondered if it was aftermarket or factory fit for a TS (the TB aerial position is not possible on a TS).

Probably an old cell phone antenna. I suppose in 1991 everyone assumed we would always have car mounted cell phones. My 348ts has a black fin like antenna in the roof.

Where was the original radio antenna on a 348ts?

The 348TS I'm buying has a radio antenna (aerial)stuck on its windshield. There is a terminal block mounted at the top left corner inside the screen (I guess for US this would be top right?) and then a wire running vertically down from it and another cable running horizontally across the screen from it. Although the terminal block has 'Bosch' marked on it the whole affair looks a bit makeshift (cables are bonded against the screen glass with a kind of clearish mastic) so I wondered if this is normal for a TS (I've noticed TB's have proper roof mounted antena.

Have any of you guys come across this, if its not the pucka kit I'll get it removed because it looks a pretty heath robinson affair?
