I am trying to figure out the wiring for the speakers in my 86 mondial. I have the stock tweeter in the lower dash and the midrange/woofer in the door. each speaker had the normal two wires attached to it. this is consistent with ferrari wiring diagram. The diagram notes that the wires between the two speakers (tweeter and midrage) connect at C9 which is the connector for the rh door. It says this is on the right side of the instrument panel. Where is this panel? To me it looks like the two sets of wires meet somewhere behing the rivited foot wall right where the wires pass through the door rubber bridge. Very hard to access. I am ultimatly trying to find where the crossover is for the speakers so I can replace it? In lieu of that how hard is it to run new wires through the door rubber bridge - it seems pretty tight in there now. Any help would be appreciated. |
