I do! Seriously! Air-tool oil is what you should use (formulated for air-compressors and that's what that is). I do it every once in a while (way less than 7500mi). I know from using my air-tools at work, oiling extends the life of the tool greatly. Some of the guys don't oil their tools and theirs break. My cheap, off-shore-made tools are still spinning. |

On the note of what the manual says to do...Does anyone actually oil their horn every 7500 miles? |

So that's where I've been going about it wrong, damn American air. |

For those of you replacing the air in your tires I hope you are only using bottled air certified to be imported from Italy. |

then again maybe they had to remove the environmentally unfriendly version and put in the EPA approved type which is law here in Oz. |

Adam, you forgot to have the reverse muffler bearing changed. |

I knew the 15K service was so high priced when I was quoted for the removal, proper enviormental disposal, and replacement with clean heppa / charcoal filtered air in all tires including the spare, so I told the dealer only to do the four and forget about the spare. :-) |

Someone sold him a bill of goods. Also he probably was told that freon wears out. He should have known about our F.C.site and then he would have known better. I am sure there are people who would have the old stale air removed from their tires and have it replaced with fresh, for a price of course. |

I see where the previous owner of my TR had his freon removed and replaced during a routine spring tune-up. Why would someone do this? Do you suppose people replace the air in their tires too? Bruce. |
