Best description is a 'fluttering' sound. It's not very loud. But loud enough to hear if the radio isn't on. There is no perceived loss in power or response. It's just a noise. Unfortunately it occurs at the highway cruising speed for 6th gear. |

Is it the intake systems automatic valving? I am not sure exactly how or at what revs the butterflies adjust. |

Hmmm, I'm baffled Floyd. I was going to say ASR, but at 2000rpm in all gears you'd have to be driving on an oil slick. What does it actually sound like - is there any difference in the way the car acclerates or throttle response? |

Anyone else hear a little flutter engine sound under light loads around 2000-2500 rpm in the 550 ? It happens in all gears. Thanks |
