Big difference between the '83 to '84 models. The '83 still used an air-pump for the emission system, from '84 they used a pulse air injection sytem (less parts to break down). Also, there was an EGR valve that would cause carbon build-up in the throttle valve for the '83's. This is according to Forza, issue #5, Spring 1997. |

The only difference regarding 308QVs (they were made from 1983-1985)is between the 83 and the 84/85. The 84/85 the absolute same car. The 83 had some minor differences (the switches in the interior are slightly different, there are a couple things that were changed and for some reason I can't seem to think of any of them right now, the 84/85s are a little more refined than the 83s). The corrected some of the small problem areas of the 83s when they came out with the 84/85s. |

nope both r 308QVs, 85 might b a little more expensive depending on miles & condition |
