Jerry -- no need to apologize. Actually, a problem one of the Flisters is currently having with the blower fans on his 308GT4 reminds me that the "fan warning light" really only indicates to the pilota that the fan blower switch in the cabin is in the "on" position and that +12V is on the light and (probably) is also being applied to the fan blower motors -- the warning light doesn't really know if the motors are actually rotating or not (as the FLister discovered).

Jerry -- are you talking about your 308i (you should fill out your profile a bit!)? Is this an amber or orange color light? -- if so, I believe the problem is in the OM translation, and it should really be called something like "blower fan ON indicator light" -- nothing to worry about, just comes on with the blower fan motor.
