Jim, I think that Brownie crumbs might have fallen in the contact area of the switch. This is always a problem in my car. Paul |

Ross: Pop the switch out of the console (it just pulls straight up)and jiggle the plug-in terminal. If this works (it was the culprit on my 512), clean the contacts with a good terminal cleaner and apply some dielectric grease. Good luck |

These things are always a problem; over engineered and under built. Can you hear the solinoid working when you press the switch of is it quiet? If it clicks but doesn't open then it's probably misalligned. If you can't hear any sound then it's a loose wire or the fuse. If I don't use mine of a regular basis, the first time it always sticks and I have to pry it open with a credit card.....NOrm |

the electronic switch to pop open the glovebox suddenly stopped working. so i couldn't get the box open without using the emergency pull wire. i have not had time to fix it yet, but before i waste a lot of time looking for the culprit, does anybody have any ideas? |
