Paul, Using the dimensions of my airbox logo, a signmaker made stickers with the word "FERRARI" cut out and then used white acryllic spray paint to paint the letters on the box. It looks great but I didnt have the other wording that Rob had to begin with so it was easy. They can make multiple stickers so you can redo it as needed. Dan |

Fantastic results, Rob! That engine compartment really glows now. I was looking forward with anticipation to see how the air box cover restore turned out -- I like it! That engine detailing is some real back-aching, knuckle-busting, time-consuming work isn't it? But the results are very satisfying! By the way, you wouldn't happen to have a closer pic of the air box cover would you? |

Rob, where do you find "Rub-n-Buff"? I'd like to start working on my engine. Thanks! |

ItalianCarParts.com did mine. I'm very happy with them, although they are a little pricey. I don't know the alternatives, they're the only ones I could find. |

Rob, it looks great ! Did you send the airbox out to one of those places that will restore them and silk-screen the new logo on? It looks really good. I have been using some red and silver high-temp paint on some heat shields under my hood. |

Thanks for the tip, yes, I do need new caps. The 328's I have compared to all varry between each other. I don't know which years they had which, but yes, I've seen both. This restoration is exactly how my orginal was. |

Rob, that looks great! I dont know if its the picture quality, but if your coolant expansion tank cap and oil cap are corroded, you can easily get new ones cheaply at a dealer. I thought the 328 airbox just said "FERRARI" without other wording (?) regards, Dan |

Here's the latest pic after repainting the air plenum, rub n buff the engine block, degreasing the plug wires and other parts, and then finally getting the air box restored. Only remaining step is to touch up the block more with rub n buff and get the trunk zipper fixed. Pics of the entire process can be found under "Parts & Service".
