Dr. Tommy... 10kg-m, not 10kg is what they mean... Works out to about 72lb-ft. However, if you use standardized torque tables, based on thread pitch and diameter...80-90 lb-ft makes more sense. Regards, David |

I've got notations in my owners manual, written by hand and initialed by the technician at Hollywood Motor Sports where the car was initially purchased and serviced it's entire life, indicating 88 ft/lbs all the way around... |

Some years ago when I bought a new testarossa, I called FNA because the owners manual stated 325 ft lb! This typo was intended for the original center-lock wheels. The TR had five bolt attachment like your 308. FNA recommended 76 ft lb. |

I've always done 100lbs. It's what my truck calls for. My Ferrari should always be equal or better. HAHA |

Nice and tight, around 80-90 foot/lbs. Then go over again 5lbs more tightening every 2nd nut as you go around. You should be able to get the feel of it with out a torque wrench.

Can anyone tell me the proper torque for 16in 308 QV (1984) wheels? Would you recommend anything different for the track vs the street? |
