My V700's lasted about 8 autocrosses in the BMW, they would of lasted more, but my camber wears them out quickly on one corner. I should of flipped them.

My V700's on the RX7 race car will last about 4 race weekends. That's about 80-90 minutes of racing a weekend. Maybe not quite as many minutes as a track weekend.

Right now I'm running Toyo RA1's on the race car and they seem to last longer, but have about the same grip as the V700's.

Hoosier performs the best, but 40-50% more expensive and not as lasting.

Hi Rob, yes I was recommended these tires for the Volkswagen. They said I can get about 4-5 track events out of the set. Well see about that! :-)

V700's are a great tire and value.

Hola, I am punishing my VW GTI VR6 in July with a track event. I have the brakes worked out. I need a set of good road racing tires. Does anyone know where to find some used race tires, or some inexpensive ones? Its for my GTI, sizes needed:
205/50/15....and I'm not sure but I think I can stuff a 225/50/15 on it. Any advice? THANKS everyone....
