superperformance is the best I've seen, though maybe not after shipping costs.

I kinda stopped looking after finding out that I have 6mm to go, which I think is plenty to remove the low spot in the rear rotor.

Phil,

Late model Alfa will not work. Wrong bold hold diameter.

What is 86mm?

Found a crossover yet?

porterfield makes racing brake pads, but also have a street pad that people seem happy with on noise and dust level (and trivial things like stopping ability). the pads were $69/$79 for the front/rear axle - or vice-versa - anyway, a buck-fifty gets you what you need for all four wheels. can't comment on the dust level since it's not my 308 and it hasn't been driven a lot since.

porterfield also does calipers, rotors (slotted, drilled, oem style, etc), ducting, lines, fittings, oil coolers, and other stuff that people who track their cars seem to like buying.

the ferrari rotors are as usual 2x+ just about anything else, but I read someplace that when asked, porterfield said they have to pay a fee to ferrari, so if true, chalk the prices up to dealer protectionism.

the are at www.porterfield-brakes.com

thanks to steve, I think I get to avoid buying rotors at the moment, since they are around 86mm. hopefully the low spot can get taken out within the 6mm that is left.

I doubt that Volvo rotors would interchange as they use a seperate park brake with small brake shoes inside the inner part of the rotor. I repair a bunch of Volvos by the way.

Phil,

I have not found a crossover yet but other chat says that Volvos have the same bolt pattern. Maybe the same rotor? Who is porterfield?

ps, mine are down to the minimum and warped.

For the rear brake disk thickness the 308GT4 WSM (110/75) shows:

nominal = 20 mm
minimum = 18 mm

does anyone have the min spec handy?
if replacement is necessary, porterfield has rotors for $195. is there a cross from another mfg for these rotors?
