Arnaldo, I remember on my TR that you could unscrew the side of the center console (3 screws) and just unplug the odometer. The Speedo was still working. |

Thats why everybody has a 308 with 35k on it. Buy condition and service history.I would buy a 308 with 70k miles on it with full documentation before I would buy one with 35k and no documents or records. |

If it is like the TR, it should be at the front and bottom of the engine just behind the oil filter. The TR has the two wires coming out of a big brass nut. The connector is right there. Two easy in my opinion for anybody to mess with it. Sorry, haven't look at a 348 yet. |

You mentioned that there is a cable or plug in the engine compartment that you unplug and it stops countng. The reason I am asking is simple. I am buying a 348 Spider and the car has had no miles driven in the last year. I somewhat do not believe that and want to see if for some reason that plug is "extra" clean! ;)
