There are many errors in the owners manuals as well as parts manuals. There are many errors in the cars design too so I guess it evens out. |

For quite some time I had been under the impression that my 328 did not have a block coolant drain. My shop manual shows the drain to be on the same side of the block as the radiator so it faces the front of the car. The other day another list member directed me to the 'Parts & Service' section of this list where there are instructions about how to change the coolant. The list instructions indicated the drain is located on the side of the block facing the rear. So now I have drained my block. Heretofore, I would always skip the block drain assuming my engine was made on a Monday. |
