I live like thirty minutes away from him (across the Border) and when talking to him before, invited me down for a burger and shoot the s--- about Ferraris...cool!

He is very frank and honest and will do what it takes to get your baby back on the road.

Hey Guys, Ditto to that. The one great thing about Nick is that, he takes the time to know you as a person, not just a number. MAGOO

Yeah, Nick helped me find parts for my 308QV. Ge knows what he is doing (like, he really knows what he is doing) with Ferraris, 308s in particular. He is a fair guy and wont ever try to pull one over on you. Also, he is very professional and attacks whatever problem you face him with (unlike the usual Ferrari service, we'll do it tomorrow, right...). Plus, he's pretty cool if you talk to him a little. I would definitely recommend him for anything you might have.

As everyone probably knows I have just completed the overhaul of my 82 308 and have posted pictures of the progress on the Oil consumption postings. Before I started the Overhaul procedure the car had an intermittent ignition problem that would occasionally kill half of the engine and cause stalling and backfiring. After the engine was finished and broken in I had planned to install the direct fire ignition system that Nick Scianna sells since I was convinced that one of the Digiplex boxes was going bad. Well it happened on my first trip out of town on Friday. On the return trip home from about 30 miles the ignition box went crazy and the engine started skipping, backfiring and stalling, and loosing power. I made it back home but after checking the ignition on the scope it showed that the forward bank was firing but not functioning. I checked everything I could think of then I wrote to Nick to see if he had ever seen this happen. He wrote back saying that the forward exhaust cam had probably jumped a tooth and after checking, sure enough it had. Evidently the bucking and ill running had caused it to jump even though the belt was tight and running true. After putting it back in time it now runs well again but will not run again until I get the Direct fire ignition that I have ordered from him. I just wanted to publicly thank a person who went out of his way to help a person who had an unusual problem and gave his time and experience to help and I thank him greatly and Highly recommend his services. Sincerely, Edward Gault
