Hello my fellow Tifosi,
The time is almost up for the Energy Suspension bushings group buy and we need just a few more people to complete our minimum buy-in. If there is *anyone* out there who is "on the fence" and debating whether to buy a set, let me tell you to stop deliberating and do it now because I don't think we will ever get this many people together for such a good discount. Sure, we will have an account open at ES for any future purchases (such as sway bar or shock bushings) but the prices will be higher because there will be fewer who are interested.
The deadline is tomorrow Friday (2/22) and I need to have all payments and orders by 6PM (Eastern Time) so I can place the order. Please read below (snipped from an earlier email) for ordering and payment info.

PS As an added incentive, the installation will be videotaped *and* photographed and for the cost of the videotape and shipping I will send a tape out to you as a guide to help you install Them. What do you say now? ;)

A-FRAME BUSHING GROUP BUY TECHNICAL DETAILS

Mike Marchese wrote me asking for details so I thought I'd post my response.
The buy is for A-frame (Ferrari calls them Wishbone) bushings:
308/328 front & rear inner (16/car)
Mondial front inner + rear inner & outer bushings(24/car).
The bushings are graphite impregnated polyurethane which should last forever, the graphite keeps them from squeaking, and best of all, they firm up the suspension. Handling should be noticably improved, especially if you track your car. The ride will be slightly rougher due to the additional firmness. Maybe quite a bit firmer if you have old rubber bushings that are well on the way to failure.
Any competant Ferrari servicer can install them. Also, we're workin up do-it-yourself installation instructions.You will need to have a wheel alignment done after they're installed.
We are also working up group buys for the rest of the suspension. bushings ie: SHOCK,SWAY-BAR, & STEERING RACK.
CAVEAT: PRICES BELOW MAY VARY
The price breaks on the bushings are at three volume points:
For P/N 13.3101 (front) Poly Ferrari C.A. Bushing

200-499 $15.47 ea.
500-999 $13.45 ea.
1000+ $12.48 ea.
For P/N 13.3102 (rear) Poly Ferrari C.A. Bushing

200-499 $18.19 ea.
500-999 $15.76 ea.
1000+ $14.57 ea.
We are very close to being able to get the 500+ unit prices which with
a few $ for shipping costs work out the prices in the post below. If we don't
hit the magic 500 unit number, we should still get them at the 200+ unit number.
Which is still a great bargain!

Basically, the guys at ES are waiting for the $ so they can start manufacturing the bushings for us. There is a 2 to 3 week turnaround so I'm guessing a month from the time I place the order until you get it in your hands. Remember, they will ship a pallet to me first and then I get to sort, package and ship it to you so I'm adding a (small) cushion of time.
By the way, I will be organizing a Tech Session sometime after we all get them and I will be taking pictures and/or filming the event. I'm
thinking April sometime when the weather is nice. The pictures will be posted on a website and the videotape will be available for those who are interested at a nominal cost (however much it costs me to buy and ship the tapes to you).
