I'm not familiar with the 550, but on my 308 GTB, there are a couple of rubber drain tubes which project an inch or so beyond the bottom panels. One is for coolant overflow (in the rear for my car)and the other, up front, is the A/C condensed water drain. The drains will be in different positions on your front-engine car, but you should see them easily enough. |

I do not have a 550, but I agree with Ric. It's probably a plugged drain. You have condensed water that can't escape from your air conditioning ducts. Eventually, it will blow through the clog and you will enjoy a waterfall on your legs. I would look for the drain tube and employ a coat hanger. It worked on my Plymouth! |

If like some other cars I have seen do that it is air bubbles in the cooling system going through the heater core. First of all make sure the cooling system is full. One way to ascertain it is to pinch off one of the heater hoses and drive the car and see if it goes away. I have had to place a restrictor washer in some cars heater hoses to alter the flow and eliminate the noise. |

One thing pops to mind, but it may not be applicable. Have you been using the A/C lately? If the blower assembly has a plugged drain, there could be a build up of condensate (water) in the bottom of the unit. Otherwise, I'd have it looked at.

I should mention that when I say driver side I mean right side. I need to use it on a trip tomorrow, so I'm wondering if its serious. Help appreciated |

As a fellow 550 owner, I would. That is just plain bizarre! Is there a Molson in your glovebox? |

Just been out in my 550 and I've noticed a liquid sloshing noise from behind the drivers side dashboard. The noise is heard during heavy braking. Can anybody shed any light on this and what it might be? Do I need to rush to the dealer? |
