I believe injectors for QV's and 328's have the same flow size etc. but may differ in how the are installed. I believe most QV's screw in, but late rare held in with a snap ring of some sort. I have a late 85 QV and when I got new injectors, my mechanic said they were the same as 328's. They are cheap if you don't go to a Ferrari store. However, the newer brass style ones seem to be prone to leaking right out of the box. DAve |

Hmm, If the injectors are the same size, does that imply that I could drop a 328 engine into my Euro QV & use the current Non-Lambda K-jetronic system?

All Bosch CIS injected Ferraris (regardless of model or # cylinders) from years 80 to 89, use the same injector. |

The FNA website shows a 328 as "K-Jetronic" (although I'd have guessed that it was K-Jetronic with Lambda since the prior QV's were/are). Every reference text that I've seen shows the K-Jetronic, K-Jetronic with Lambda, and KE-Jetronic as using the same Bosch CIS injector (the latest of which is the ...047 number you show). What is "cheap"? -- less than the ~$23/each that Joe's import site shows? |

The 308 parts cross reference page lists the fuel injector # as 0 437 502 047. When I took this to my local parts store it brought up the word Ferrari on their computer for probably the first time in history. Anyway this number showed it was compatible with an 86 Mondial and TR along with the 83 to 85 308 QV's. Will it work in my 328? If so I can get them incredibly cheap. My old injector is a 0 437 502 010. |
