In order to change from center to 5 bolt you would probably have to change all 4 brake rotors. This is very expensive. Either you spent the money on the speedline (Nick Scianna is a distributor http://www.nicksforzaferrari.com ) or you may find some 16 inch center lock. What is your budget?

I scanned the TR SPC and changing over from the center lock configuration to the 5-lug configuration looks very expensive -- $10K? (just for the parts) -- if it's possible at all (I didn't do a thorough analysis). In the front, both configurations seem to use the same uprights so maybe you could swap the hub + disc + various spindle stuff, but in the rear they use different uprights so everything, even the A-arms, would have to be swapped (assuming the later A-arms even fit on an early chassis).
The TR SPC does list 16" center lock wheels in addition to the 415 TRX center lock wheels -- but I don't know if they'd be any cheaper than the Speedlines -- what is the cost for a set of the Speedlines? There's been a set of used 5-lug TR wheels in the FML for $325 each lately -- maybe you could find some used 16" center lock wheels for a similar price. The part numbers for the 16" TR center lock wheels are:

front -- 133213 or 132990
rear -- 133214 or 132991

Can someone advise what options I would have to get away from the center lock TRX wheels on an '86 Testarossa. I'd like to change so I would have more choices of more modern tires than the TRX's. New Speedline wheels are too expensive for me, any other possibilities? What's involved in changining from splined hubs to 5-bolt hubs? Any help would be much appreciated.
