I'm pretty sure I remember that there is a whole thing on this on either expensivecar or Ferrari 308FAQ. http://www.expensivecar.com http://home.att.net/~ferrari/ |

Thanks Steve, I thought of going that way but my headrests have that embossed prancing horse logo which the local shop cannot do. They have good conolly leather though. Thanks MAGOO, How and where can I get the dyes? I read elsewhere that the results can be quite good. Is it hard to do with the preparation and all? Cheers |

Although I haven't done this yet, I think the best DIY approach is to buy a "skin set" from someone like World Upholstery: http://www.worlduph.com/ferrari.htm and then take it along with the old component to a local Upholstery Shop for installation so you can do the interior assembly/disassembly yourself. I'm sure WU could handle the whole job too, but the shipping costs might be a factor that makes using a local shop a better value. JMHO Id be glad to hear about any good or bad experiences with this type of strategy. |

Awang, Not suggesting that you can't afford it, but have you checked what the orig. leather covers and panels cost. Maybe re-dying is an option if they are not totally destroyed. MAGOO |

Hi guys, How difficult is it to change the leather on seats and door panels? Does the prancing horse logo come standard on the headrest of an 89 328gts? Can y'all recommend a good supplier? Thanks and best regards to all on this board. |
