Leo, speak to someone directly about Ferrari systems at Borla, they're more than willing to help from what I've read/heard. |

You do lose points at Concours. But who cares, you can just look at what they took off for it and then just add that to your score for your own Concours score if you had the aftermarket on. They are supposed to add somewhere in the area of 10hp, maybe a little more. The stock ones are pretty good as far as stock exhausts go, so the aftermarket ones don't make as big a difference as they do on say a Honda Civic. With a K&N filter and a Borla I could see you pusing 20hp more than stock. |

Thanks guys. I will eMail Nick. Hes been very helpful. By the way, do you lose points for an aftermarket exhaust at a concours? I have aspirations of showing whichever car I buy, so thats why I was glad to hear that this one also comes with the original. Anyone know what the horsepower boost is? I went on the Borla website, but they only list systems for Testarossas and F-40s. |

I gotta agree with the guys on this one. Keep that stock exhaust stored away and in good condition so that when you sell your car you can leave the buyer open to having a entirely stock car. |

Keep the Borla on the car! My GT4 has one and the sound from it... I have no cats so its pure exhaust. Yes the paintings on the walls in the house rattle when I start the car up, but I don't care! Keep the original though, when it comes time to sell the car.

Leonardo, Nick has a spiral pack that is used in conjuction with the Borla muffler. The Borla tends to be loud. I understand that there is a great improvement in the sound. Call NICK at 360-332-7779 for details. MAGOO |

Lens, Keep the Borla . There's a topic in here somewhere all about exhausts being hotly discussed and the Borla came out on top. If they are too loud for your liking, somebody one this bulletin contacted Nick Scianna and got him to do something for baffles (helical cones or something) anyway Nick is the guy to talk to. His link is the advert site. |

Im looking at an 86 328 that has a Borla exhaust. Im very picky about showroom stock but luckily the car also comes with its original exhaust intact. If I decide to purchase, should I swap the Borla system for the stock? I know theres a performance increase, and you cant beat stainless steel, but is this a good thing in terms of wear and tear? Are there any drawbacks to an aftermarket exhaust system? |
