Not wanting to press as to your unhappiness with a particular source...I too have been disappointed with mine, of whom I have done business with for 20+ years now...

With service, not necessarily price being the driving force, I've had good experiences with:

Lyle Tanner
Algar (Very knowlegeable staff-Jeff)
Wide World of Cars-Rob

I know I left out a well-known source...as I just got tired of being over-charged versus quoted, wrong parts being sent...and constant calls as to "where are my parts?"

As a result of frustration, I have developed good working relationships with some European dealers...and have been bringing over parts every couple of weeks. Prices are typically 30% lower than the U.S. dealers....with a great fill rate.

I second the responses regarding Brian and Lyle Tanner. He is great to work with and will work just as hard to find a visor clip as an engine block.

Man90tr:
Telephone # for Brian Keegan @ Lyle Tanner is 408-364-0881. I've dealt with Greg Cowman there with equal success.

I have been happy with GT Car Parts until lately. The last few orders have needed my "babysitting" and still they did not get out. So, ... I am looking for some new blood too

I use Brian Keegan at Lyle Tanner Enterprises. He
knows everything about these cars, and has all the right connections.

I am unhappy with the parts distributor I am currently dealing with. For those of you who mail order parts, who is a reliable source with reasonable prices and personnel who are at least in the same phylum as we? Thanks.
