Thanks Barry but I want to replace it because the whole assembly is loose inside. It's worn out. I have had the guts out of it but it can't be fixed. Plus I was thinking about replacing it with an automatic dimming one. |

Rivee, You didn't mention the problem you're having with your rear view mirror. If what you're experiencing is similar to me, that is dust and haze on the inside surface of the plexiglass and on the mirror surface, there is an easy solution. The black plastic frame can be removed from the housing thus enabling you to periodically clean the inner elements. There are two clips on the top and two on the bottom of the frame. Just flex the frame outward a bit to disengage the lower clips first. I had to do this when I got my car in January. Magoo was very helpful in his instructions to me. Barry |

Does anybody know how the rear view mirror comes off the windshield? Isn't there a way to remove the mirror without taking the glued bracket off? 78 308 GTS |
