When I was the Service Director for a GM dealership it was my understanding that recalls were good for life and free. We did some that were 10 years old on some cars that never were brought in and they were honored.

Craig,

Thanks for the offer. No, Im not the current owner, but Im going to see the car tomorrow and will find out whether the work was done. If not, Ill have the current owner submit the form. I can fax the form to you tomorrow if you like, or you can call Ferrari NA in Englewood, NJ (201-816-2600). Ask for Stella in Technical Services ext.2659. She might be more sympathetic to a current owner. If she cant help you, shell most likely refer you to Shannon. Let me know.

I'm assuming you aren't a current owner....

Since I am, I would be glad to submit the fax if you'll fax me the form & where to send it. I'm curious about my car too..

Does anyone know if an authorized dealer will now honor early 328 recalls #143 (oil cooler lines), #144 (fuel return hose), and #146 (front lower suspension arm forks) that were never performed? I contacted Ferrari NA (Shannon LaBianca) and she sent me a form, explaining that all queries can only be submitted via FAX by the current owner. Ive heard the price tag for these updates is about a $1,000 if performed elsewhere.
