Hello Robert!

Are you performing the bearing job? I found with mine, to be incredibly hard to remove (others have too). Almost zero tolerance of the bearing race on the shaft. I can't imagine doing it in-car. I think it would be easier on cars with motors after #03045, it shows in the PC the bearings immediately behind the drive pulley, the seal facing the drive gear.

Hi Robert,
Welcome. There is lots of technical help and info here. A good adjunct to the FerrariList, looks like there are more and more people using both.
You're not the only GT4 owner here, glad to see another one.

Hello,

My name is Robert Garven, I have a 308 gt4 which is currently undergoing a cam drive pulley bearing replacement (in car). I have had the car for 8 years and have rebuilt my rear suspension and completed a major service. Although I have done some pretty complicated projects I consider myself a novice and would not have been able to do this without help from many sources including Ric (who recently posted). I am still on the ferrarilist but am mainly interested in technical discussions, especially 308 related.

I am hoping I can share my limited knowledge and in return keep this beautiful car running with you collective help!

Thanks

Rob
