I got my 308 rear glass from Motor.spa in Modena Italy. Cost about 485 shipped and beat me back home! Contact Cigarini Flavio in parts at 059 281357

or fax 059 281357
email [email protected]
This guy is really helpful, speaks english ok and is happy to ship stateside! You can get your parts if you have the partnumber quickly and far cheaper from Italy.
Good luck, I am sure you will all appreciate the source!

Butch Hooper @ Italian Auto has replacement rear windows for the TR in polycarb (not glass). I remember seeing an ad in Hemmings for the rear TR glass, but the price was like $3K (does that sound right?).

Windshields are a PITA especially if you want the little horse :-) I think Lyle Tanner is carrying glass now too. There is also a chinese/taiwanese glass company claiming they are making Ferrari replacement glass for a fraction of the cost of original.

My rear windown in my 86 TR is cracked...does anyone know how hard it is to replace the window, and are there any windows made without the $1000 ferrari emblem on them? aftermarket?

Tom, the fact is that a windshield with the Dino logo cost even more than one with the Ferrari logo ! So I went with the Ferrari logo on my Dino 348.

The windshield I bought from TRutlands was OEM which has the Ferarri logo etched in the glass on the lower driver's side in white.

You guys are talking a ferrari windshield right -St goban or something like that. I heard of other having the local windshield guy replace theirs for pretty cheap using non ferrari glass. Not sure I would do it. As a side note I had a large rock hit my windshield a few months ago - not a scratch - boy was I lucky

I just had the windshield replaced on my 348 Spider. The retail cost at the dealer was $1400.00 so I bought one from TRutlands for $950.00. You will also need to replace the molding that surrounds the windshield as the old one will bend as it is removed. I had Beau Pirkle, a local Ferrari paint and body man install mine for a few hundred dollars.

Out driving the car and a fellow 348 F-Car owner chased me down. We started to talk, windshield replacement came up, he stated that when he broke his, it was a whole can of worms.
He said that it took like four tries from the local dealer to get it right; one came broke, one came with a heater, one came without the antenna, and one came without the rear window bracket. All said and done he said it was a $3,000 bill.
Was this guy trying to scare me?
