Its been awhile since I took mine off, but there will be one nut holding the end of the tube on the edge of the timing belt cover. The other connection is the main one on top of the sump, I think its a collar-nut holding the tube down and then a flared fitting screwed into the sump.

I think its difficult to get at because its behind the alternator. Be patient.

Just did a 30K on a 1980 308 GTSi. everything runs great except bad oil leak on exhaust over by the AC Compressor. I took the front valve cover off and put a new gasket on, Still have an oil leak. It's not leaking from the gasket of the valve cover. I check it with a mirror.
Oil looks like it getting on the exhaust under the AC compressor and moving to the main crank shaft of the exhaust. The only other thing I touched was the dip stick during the 30K maintenance. I had to change the seal on the exhaust CAM shaft. A real ••••• to get out and get back on, so I stuck a 3/8 extension in it and was able to move it around to get the shaft in and out.
My boy CAVRAMP98(Dave) thinks I broke the bottom of the dip stick. So it is spraying the whole area in oil.
So is there any way to change the dip stick easily.
Please let me know. I've been working on this puppy for over a month nights and weekends. It's time to drive.
