Yeah it's the best way to own the car IMO, know everything about it (so when it breaks down in the middle of nowhere I'm familiar with it). I'm doing everything that's necessary, might as well do it all now. The basic stuff is the engine, hoses, A/C system needs to be gone over, cooling system, some electrical stuff, dying the seats, a couple other things I'm sure. |

Bret, are you rebuilding just the engine and the engine compartment or are you doing anyting else? Theres nothing better than doing all that work yourself, i bet you are really getting to know your car. |

Nah, none yet. I've been pretty busy with school lately unfortunately so haven't been home that much (like 135 miles). I did pull the radiator, ac radiator, gas tank, and a couple other here and there things. I'm gonna replace all the hoses so when I really get into this job, maybe on saturday I'll do some, then I'll snap some pics. I'll definitely keep posting each time I do a complete job, like painting the engine compartment, hoses, fuel system, etc. |
