Here is a picture of the Lexus LS400 dash that I had to remove to replace the heater core. It took 9 hours but every screw is back in the same hole it came from. |

For a GTB (GTS probably similar) 328 (if I remember correctly) Open glovebox lid. Remove the cassette holder 2 screws Remove the inner part of the glove box 4 screws? Remove the ash tray 2 screws Now you can pull up the panel with all switches etc. There is a very small insex screw holding the knob. Remove knob. The switch itself is mounted with a hex nut. Remove nut, disconnect and replace. Be carefull with the leather. You can use over head film when assembling to protect the leather. Not 100% but quite close I believe. The switch is not expensive. Good luck |

I currently have a Lexus LS400 Instrument panel removed to replace a heater core. It is the last piece that comes out of the interior. I will post some pics tomorrow. You wouldn't believe the number of parts you have to remove. |

The QV is held down by the ash tray, when you open it there are two screws that hold down that top of the center section. Hope this helps some. You'll get it. Just remember it was put together with two hands, it can be taken apart with them (and hopefully put back together). |

I haven't gotten too far in looking because I though the switches might pop right out but didn't want to try until I knew for sure. I'll look closer. Thanks for the reply, LUCH

I for one haven't a clue. Did you take apart the center console yet to check it out. The 308QV has a surprisingly simple system of holding everything together under there, I would imagine the 328, even with it's slightly more modern set up, would have something comparable. |

Does anybody know how to remove the fan switches on the console of an 86' 328. Also are there replacement switches available? |
