I didn't buy any, but there was a previous post on oil additives. While some people have found positive results almost all the manufacturers have been sued by the federal government for making misstatements in their ads.

There is a lot of crap out there. How many times is someone going to reinvent that magnetizer for your fuel line which supposedly improves gas mileage 150%.

It isn't suprising though considering even main stream companies misstate things. Hell, K & N is a good filter, but even their claims are overstated. But they do have their selectively placed weasel words ("up to") to avoid getting into trouble.

But I DO LIKE my George Foreman grill.

infomercials are great they sell a $1 worth of merchandise for 19.95, charge $10 for s/h and offer a money back warranty. Even after returns they still make a boatload of money because so many people do not want spend the time to return a worthless product.

I just saw the Tornado Infomercial. I thought it was a amusing add. I have never tried it though. I was wondering what other amusing car adds anyone has seen or what products have you purchased in the past for your car that didn't quite do what you thought it would. I tried durashine and it didn't do what I thought it would though.
