Doug, I just got a rebuilt warm up regulator from Fuel Injection Corporation, in California. Great Service from these guys. My local Ferrari dealer wanted $818 for a new one. $134 from F.I.C. I just found them on the internet, and gave them a call. They told me who their closest distributor was in my area. Said it would take two weeks to rebuild by Regulator. They sent one to me in two days. They might be able to supply the part you need also. |

Nick described in this forum, the work involved in "cleaning" out those distributors. Call him up from his ad at the left. |

Having my car tuned up after failing HC idle test of emissions twice. Had 8 new injectors installed and when the shop test drove it, it was missing. Diagnosed that there is some sediment in the distributor that settled over time and when they pulled the injectors, it stirred things up. They pulled the brand new injectors and when they turned them, both fuel and this sediment came out. Car is an '84 308 with original dist. Any suggestion on what to do to avoid new $1800 Bosch dist.? Anyone have contacts or know a rebuilder? Anyone ever have a similar problem? Thanks Doug |
