Sounds very similar to the Leatherique products/process. Your seats really look terrific!

The company is called: Color +, 106 Harrier court, Milford,Pa. call 507-686-3158. The person to talk with is Joanne. They will match any color, you need to send a sample at least 1 inch square. The best way to find out what can be done is to ask for their free booklet called "About Leather"

Does this company have a web site? Do you know if they can match colors? My fairly new interior already has a place wearing on the bolster from my fat butt and I would like to be able to touch it up.

Tom, it took about 3 weeks. There is a 24 hr wait between each stage.

I used a system by a company called Color +. The seats were first stripped of the paint like stuff that was on them, also did door panels and consol. The parts were then softened with a softener which brought back the soft feel of new leather. After this treatment I repaired the hole by cementing a piece of leather behind the hole and then the defect was filled with a filler. These seats were also sanded to remove surface cracks. Now the color was applied. The color product is NOT a lacquer base but is a water base material.

Bernie, did you use the "Leatherique" products to do this restoration? It looks like you used the crack-filler to repair the hole? Great result!! I wish my seats look like yours! Please share with us what you used.

They came out great. Please share all the info you can. In the near future I too will be embarking on doing the seats. The leather is in good shape (they were done once before) but the black shows wear quick. They need to be dyed, so I'm gonna pull em out while the rest of the car is in limbo here.

Looks terrific, Bernie...good job!

What process did you use to obtain such spectacular results? What type of dye did you use?

looks great. Was your tan leather yellowish? How did you get it back to tan? Did you do the dash and door panels too?

I've read several posts about where to get material, and how to refinish seats, door panels etc.. I've just finished the interior in my 328, looks great feels great. See picts before and after, also repaired a small hole in leather. I'm definitely not a expert, but it was not that difficult. Any questions?
