Pull itloose from the front, down and in, as it comes down it pulls away from the fender edge. Sometimes needs a helpful palm to slip back under fender edge when going back.

I took a little off on both lower edges so that the rubber filler would fit better and not bind and cut it. It fits much better and still seals well.

Ed, Did you remove some of the leading edge of the inner panel where it goes under and behind the outer edge, ridge,at the wheel opening of the rear 1/4?

I used a bench grinder and relieved some of the interference on mine. If it don't fit get a bigger hammer.

I have the other way Rob, taking out is a pain and going back in always seems to be a cinch. Maybe we should work on them together, I'll put em in if you take em out. I find that I get it started in one spot and then kind of work it around letting the inside of the body (where the body wraps under there and is still painted) hold it out. Hard to explain, but I work them out almost like you would work off a snap ring, seems to be a good method to me.

The more you take it off and put it back on the easier it gets. Mine was hard to remove at first but has since gotten easier. I guess because i have bent it every which way getting it out and putting it back in. I usually slide the bottom end out first.

Coming out is not the problem...for some reason going back in test my patience.

These Damn things on my GTS have to be moved forward, backward ,sideways, up, down, and whatever until they come out and still it is a strain. No particular method to it.

Nope. It takes me longer to jack up the car and take the wheel off, than it does to take the inner fenders off.

Does anyone have a problem with the R&R of the rear inner fender shields or covers on a 308 GT4, GTS,GTB,GTSI etc.
