Bill, another trick is to use a VW thermo time switch for the radiator fans. The VW part fits fine and is available in two temp settings, 197 and 180. I believe the stock 308 part is 190 to 197 degrees so the 180 will kick the fans in sooner. Of, course this MAY put a little extra wear on your fan motors, since there are working more often. The switch is available mail order from Automotive Performance Systems for $15 www.neuspeed.com They make speed parts for VW and Hondas. |

William, I had my thermostate replaced a couple of months ago at Lyle Tanners in California. The their part number was 105191 and the cost was $64.34. I think it was a ferrari part. I'm not sure how competative their prices are, but the the other items I purchased were good deals. Ther number is (408) 364-0881. Hope that helps. Brent |

I would like to replace my 308 coolant thermostat with one that opens at a cooler temperature. Does anyone know who makes the thermostats for Ferrari or what substitutes can be used? Thank You Bill Masterson |
