I just reconnected my passenger seatbelt sensor after 20 years of it being disconnected. The part I'm having trouble with is the 10" long, red piece of flexible plastic that I think goes under the seat but I can't figure out where. Right now it is connected but sitting on the floor and the seatbelt light is on. The light does go off when the seatbelt is latched. I tried flexing the piece of plastic and nothing happens to the light. Question? Where does this red plastic piece go and how is it supposed work? |
