Just tried the Meguires rubber and plastic spray (cream), WOW my 308 bumpers have never looked that good. This stuff is like a new car in a bottle. I love it on the side grills as well. It's like a cream that sprays...great stuff.

I like the finish I get when using Meguiars Endurance tire dressing on the bumpers of my GT4. It also worked well on the air-intake and oil cooler duct hoses. Nice and shiny

BMW sells a rubber care product that is great. You can get it from any BMW dealer parts dept.

Welcome Bob...
I'm getting ready to put new brakes on my 308GTB this weekend, so a cold Grolsch would be great!

As far as the black areas you refer to,
I have had good luck removing the oxidized outer layer using rubbing compound on areas that need a lot of attention.
Then I would follow up with a good polish.

I also purchased a couple of nice buffers.
A larger one, and a smaller one to fit tighter areas.
They come in handy...

Try 2001 tire finish! I use it to finish engine bays, it dries out and leaves a natural look on hoses etc.. It will also work on rubber finish bumpers. Mequiars have a good black trim treatment, available at Autozones here.

The black plastic/rubber on the bumpers and roof buttresses of my Mondial could use some spiffing up. Anyone have some recommendations for a dressing to improve their appearance?

This is my first post to FerrariChat. Been a lurker for a couple of months to this terrific forum.

I live in Lovettsville, VA, a deep deep burb of DC hard by the Blue Ridge. In addition to the Mondial, I've got a 67 small block Corvette and an old Empi Imp recently restored by my son and I.

Visitors welcome any weekend. The Heinies and Grolsch are always cold.
