you rebuild the cyld which in really only resealing. Ferrari parts gets 150 dollars for the kit. They recommend doing even if it doesn't leak. http://ferrariclub.com In FAQ has a description of the clutch replacement. |

Sorry for the duplicate thread, my search shows that this issue has been discussed before. However I'm still a bit confused on the clutch slave clyinder. One guy told me that it is not a stand alone part and instead is actually built in to the transmisson housing and all I need is a rebuilt kit (gaskets I assume) to repair a leaky slave cylinder. Meanwhile another parts source told me that it is a separate part that can be bought new to be replaced.

Has anyone done one? Any comments on parts necessary and overall driving differences. I've learn so far that you need a new single clutch assembly (pressure plate and disc), single disc flywheel and ring assembly. The release bearing is the same. Is my research correct? |
