Christian....you were right! I took off the wheel to see if I could see anything (it was on pretty tight, but put it back and hammered away, and it is quite now. Thanks |

More than likely the A/C belt tensioner bearing. To be on the safe side, check all external sealed bearings. |

Another interesting one on a F-car. I recently started to hear from the right rear a clicking noise (almost bearing sounding) when holding the throttle at a constant speed, and yet never at acceleration or deceleration. It also seams to be at a specific speed (40-50) or so. Anyone else have something like this. I recently had the engine degreased and cleaned. Could I have removed some grease some where? Could it be a CV joint? Why would it be only at a constant speed. |
