Christian....you were right! I took off the wheel to see if I could see anything (it was on pretty tight, but put it back and hammered away, and it is quite now. Thanks

Make sure the wheel is tightened.

More than likely the A/C belt tensioner bearing. To be on the safe side, check all external sealed bearings.

Another interesting one on a F-car. I recently started to hear from the right rear a clicking noise (almost bearing sounding) when holding the throttle at a constant speed, and yet never at acceleration or deceleration. It also seams to be at a specific speed (40-50) or so. Anyone else have something like this. I recently had the engine degreased and cleaned. Could I have removed some grease some where? Could it be a CV joint? Why would it be only at a constant speed.
