I have switched relays (left to right) and it will work (or atleast did during the test) 2-3 times and then stop again. Manually lowering the light may or may not make it "work" the next time I turn the lights on and off again. It *always* raises. Any idea how I go about checking the diode (or should I stop now before I mess something up and take it to a mechanic)? |

In prior posts on this issue there seems to be a diode issue with the motors....also each motor has it's own relay I believe |

I would love to know the answer to that question myself. I just started having the same problem on my '90 Testarossa.. except mine is the driver side. Once I check the obvious (all fuses, relays, voltage to the motor, etc) I'll have my mechanic look at it next week, if it still doesn't operate. If no solution is found prior to that, I'll repost with his solution. |

On my F355 the passenger side headlight does not go down automatically when I turn the lights off. I must turn the light motor switch under the hood to make it go down. However, next time I turn on the lights, both go up as desired, but when the lights are turned off; I must again open the hood and use the motor switch to make the right side go down. Any ideas about how to fix this or what the problem may be? |
